COVID-19 Information & Safety Protocols:
We hope you are safe amidst the current Covid-19 Pandemic and remain extremely focused on doing our part to help mitigate & hopefully shortly eradicate this virus. We love this city, this country, our fabulous employees and our fantastic patrons. As a result, we have taken the following steps:
- Our already stringent daily cleanliness procedures have been greatly enhanced, with all high-touch areas & items, including credit card readers, shopping baskets & carts, being cleaned extensively & continuously on a daily basis;
We have installed both UV-C light & MERV-13 air filtration. UV-C light sanitizes by permanently damaging the DNA of bacteria & viruses. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has recommended MERV-13 filtration as a method of defense against Covid-19. Please see more information here;
The store has been significantly limiting the number of customers inside for several months now and has been operating under social distancing guidelines (including the installation of significant signage indicating that such protocols are in place);
Plexiglass barriers have been installed to protect customers & employees where appropriate;
In-store sampling has been suspended;
Automatic hand-sanitizer stations have been installed throughout the store for use by customers, employees & vendors. All hand-sanitizer utilized conforms to the World Health Organization’s recommendations for Covid-19; and
We have been operating throughout the pandemic in accordance with all governmental mandates, including the requirement that all employees, outside contractors (including vendors) & delivery personnel are required to wear face masks while in the store. Employees are also offered gloves for additional protection & face masks are available for anyone wishing to enter the store who does not otherwise have one. Please stay safe and know that we will always strive to provide the highest quality products and services in the safest possible manner during these difficult times. UPDATED ORDER POLICY: Please note that we continue to accept delivery or pickup orders by phone or email on a daily basis. Curbside pickup is also available. If possible please place all orders be placed by EMAIL ONLY (email@example.com) at least a day in advance, along with your preferred day & date for delivery. We are also here for you by phone at 212-580-6378 in the event that such is your preference. Thank you again for your kind understanding.
IMPORTANT NOTE: In an effort to provide excellent customer service, we have several people working to coordinate all Friday deliveries after the store is closed. When the store is open (until 2:45 PM on Fridays), please contact the store directly by email for all delivery concerns.
